I purchased this bed frame in twin size for a guest room. I am pretty picky about furniture and whether it is well made, and this bed did not disappoint. It's very attractive and extremely sturdy. Easy to assemble and looks great.
I ordered 2 of these for my teenage daughters and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. They are very heavy solid wood. Comes with everything you need to assemble and assembly only took me about 20 mins for each of them. After assembled they feel very sturdy. Ive spent way more on much lower quality beds. Highly recommended!
I use this bed with a cotton futon for a mattress, and a thin memory foam for comfort. The bed is attractive, very solid construction, and not too difficult to assemble. The previous wood bed I had was not as solid and would make creaking noises when I got into/out-of bed, or rolled over. This bed thankfully doesn't make any noise. I would buy it again.
The large, heavy box that this is shipped in arrived undamaged. It's packed in two boxes with styrofoam pieces which kept everything safe. The hardware comes blister packed inside a recyclable plastic bag. After getting everything unpacked, started assembly. Instructions have come a long way since the indecipherable translations of old. These have several numbered pictures and the wooden pieces are all numbered in various places to you can easily figure things out.
After getting everything tightly screwed together, I put my 5 inch memory foam mattress topper on the slats. I weigh 200 lbs and I was fearful that the slats, which were significantly bending, would break. In the future, I may lay something on the slats to help support my weight, but so far the slats are holding up.
For $200, this is a high quality frame that doesn't squeak and appears to be very strong. They even give you some extra parts. Everything was there so they weren't needed, but they'll go in my collection.
